A social studies student on an outreach mission falls into conversation with the town drunk. The old man surprises the student with his perspicacity, widsom, and humor. They sit next to one another on a park bench as daytime darkens into evening. Several streetwalkers materialize in the twilight. The student laments the desperate economic circumstances which must have driven the women onto these sidewalks. His companion slowly shakes his head and begins describing a scenario which, according to him, could unfold in any neighbohood across America. The players in his lurid parable, Francesca Petruchio and Tanya Katherina Hamilton, live in an upper middle class enclave just west of the Rocky Mountains. Ruthless pimp Francesca hides her opportunistic intentions beneath a facade of elegance and civility. In a remarkably short span of time, however, she turns tempestuous, unwilling housewife Tanya Katherina into a prostitute by prodding her with violence and rewarding her with lesbian sex. The intricacies of the tale, sprinkled with liberal and compelling detail, cause the student to disconnect from reality and become totally immersed in the subjugation of Tanya Katherina. Prudence asks her mockingly. "You think a man is going to save you?" Carrie stares back at her with bewilderment. "No man is going to save you from this!" Prudence snarls as she pulls the shocked blonde's face into her crotch. The subsequent physical assault changes Carrie's life and reveals a side of the feminist movement that few have ever witnessed firsthand..
